NetCast SDK 3.0.1 provides tools that help developers to develop the applications for NetCast TV 2013 and later NetCast platforms.

LG Smart TV SDK 3.0.1 fixed a bug that the application has been killed when running the Virtual Keyboard in Emulator 2013. The information on new features, documentation and samples are the same as LG Smart TV SDK 3.0.0.
To install the LG Smart TV SDK using a terminal, follow the below steps.
[For Linux]
Go to the downloaded folder in the terminal and change the permission of the extracted installation package.
$ CD [downloaded folder] $ chmod +x LG_Smart_TV_SDK_Installer.bin
Then, run the SDK installation package using
sudo
command in terminal as root.$ sudo ./LG_Smart_TV_SDK_Installer.bin
[For Mac]
Go to the downloaded folder in the terminal and change the permission of the extracted installation package.
$ CD [downloaded folder] $ chmod -R +x LG_Smart_TV_SDK_Installer.app
Then, run the SDK installation package using
open
command in the terminal.$ open LG_Smart_TV_SDK_Installer.app
